Meet Dr. Marangely Ruiz Medina
Dr. Marangely Ruiz Medina was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan, followed by a Master of Medical Sciences from Mississippi College. She later completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Driven by her passion for endodontics, she completed a year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Detroit Mercy, followed by two years of specialty endodontic training at the NYU Langone program.
Dr. Ruiz is highly trained in performing root canal treatment under a microscope and utilizes advanced 3D CBCT imaging for precise diagnosis and predictable results. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to connect seamlessly with patients in their preferred language.
With an empathetic, compassionate approach — and a belief that “laughter can be the best medicine” — Dr. Ruiz strives to change how patients feel about root canal treatment. Every visit is centered around comfort, transparency, and exceptional care.
She is an active member of the ADA, FDA, VCDA, and AAE, and was named Top Endodontist 2025 in Florida by Best in Medicine. Outside the office, she enjoys the beach, salsa dancing, and spending time with her family and her dog, Spottie.
